1. Eligibility
1.1 Eligibility: Prize promotions are open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over, excluding employees, contractors, and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and/or stepfamily) of the Promoter, associated agents, or anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion.
2. Promotional/Competition Period
3. Entry Instructions
3.2 Social media competitions requiring hashtags (#) or similar groupings must include the specified hashtag to qualify.
3.3 Only one entry per person per prize promotion is allowed unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additional entries will be disqualified.

3.5 Third-party or bulk entries are not permitted. Participants attempting to circumvent this rule—via multiple email accounts, reproduced or computer-generated entries, multiple identities, falsifying data, or acting dishonestly—will be disqualified. Any associated prize entitlement will be void.
3.6 Incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending is not proof of delivery or receipt. ReplaceBase is not responsible for entries lost due to technical issues, delays, corruption, or other delivery failures.
3.7 Entrants must provide accurate and up-to-date details when entering and accepting prizes. ReplaceBase is not responsible for incorrect information that affects prize acceptance or delivery.
3.8 Competitions conducted via social media or community platforms (e.g., Discord, Instagram) are subject to these terms. Community volunteers who do not fall under clause 1.1 and participate will remain anonymised and excluded from any judging process.
4. Closing and Winning
4.2 Winner Selection: Winners of prize draws will be randomly selected using a computerised random generator. Skill-based competitions will be judged by a panel of ReplaceBase staff based on specified criteria outlined in the promotion.
4.3 Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via email or private/direct message on the account used to enter within 14 days of the closing date. Winners must claim their prize within 14 days of notification. Failure to do so will result in prize forfeiture, and the prize will be awarded to a reserve selected at the same time as the original winner. Select winners may also be announced in promotional posts or on the same platform(s) as the competition.
5. Receipt of Goods/Prizes
5.2 All goods are covered by a warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the warranty’s terms and conditions.
5.3 This warranty is in addition to statutory consumer rights.
5.4 If a replacement is necessary, it will be arranged promptly and at no charge. Replacement goods will only be dispatched once the original goods are received and inspected unless otherwise stated. The cost of returning goods is the entrant’s responsibility, but reasonable postage costs will be reimbursed if the goods are found to be faulty. If the goods are not faulty, they will be returned at the entrant’s expense.
5.5 If a replacement item is no longer available, an alternative will be offered. Liability is limited to replacing faulty goods. In this case, a refund option will also be provided.
5.6 Replaced goods must be disposed of by the entrant if they were not returned to ReplaceBase.
5.7 ReplaceBase is not responsible for damage caused during the installation of goods.
5.8 Prizes must be accepted as offered. There are no cash or alternative prizes, in whole or part. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
5.9 ReplaceBase reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
5.10 ReplaceBase may verify winners’ identity, age, and address and revoke prize entitlement for breaches of these terms.
5.11 ReplaceBase reserves the right to nullify prizes if it determines an inadequate number of participants, with the definition of "inadequate" at its sole discretion.
5.12 Winners may be required to participate in publicity, including the use of their name, photograph, and comments, without compensation.
5.13 By entering, entrants grant ReplaceBase a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, or display intellectual property contained in their entries. Entrants agree not to assert moral rights and warrant full authority to grant such rights.
6. General

6.3 ReplaceBase reserves the right to disqualify entrants in breach of these terms or attempting to circumvent rules. Disqualified entrants will forfeit any prize entitlement.
6.4 Entry is at the entrant’s risk. ReplaceBase is not liable for damage, loss, or injury except where caused by its negligence or fraud.
6.5 Should any clause be deemed illegal or unenforceable, it will be severed, leaving the remaining terms in effect.
6.6 These terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
6.7 Data Protection: Personal data will be securely stored and used in line with these terms unless entrants opt into further marketing. Winners consent to their name and county being shared for winner’s lists. Refer to the Privacy Policy for further details.
7. Trade or Business Customers
The above terms apply to trade or business customers. Businesses may enter competitions as entities or through individual employees, but entries are limited to one per business unless stated otherwise. Origin of Replacement Parts at The Replace Base Ltd
At The Replace Base Ltd, we categorise our replacement parts to ensure transparency regarding their origin, quality, and authenticity. Our commitment to quality means we provide detailed descriptions for every product, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Parts
OEM parts are identical to those originally used in your device. They are sourced from the same suppliers as the device manufacturer but are not purchased directly from or affiliated with the manufacturer. These components are made using the same equipment, procedures, and processes, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.
Original Parts
Our original replacement parts are genuine components, procured through a variety of trusted channels:
- Direct Purchase: Acquired directly from manufacturers.
- Authorised Resellers and Service Centres: Sourced through licensed and verified distributors.
- Vetted Suppliers: Obtained from suppliers who undergo rigorous audits and quality checks.
Whenever possible, these parts are independently verified by manufacturers or authorised service centres. All original parts also go through our in-house testing process to ensure their quality and performance.
We also offer refurbished original parts, typically sourced from reliable vendors and recycling companies. Full details about their condition are provided in the product descriptions. When refurbishing, only original components are used unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Pulled Parts
"Pulled parts" are components carefully removed from pre-existing devices. These parts are thoroughly tested to ensure they meet our strict quality standards. Pulled parts provide an affordable and eco-friendly alternative to brand-new components.
Aftermarket (Compatible) Parts
Our aftermarket replacement parts are designed to match the specifications of original components. These are manufactured either fully or partially from non-OEM materials, meaning they are not assembled by the original manufacturer or a licensed factory.
At The Replace Base Ltd, we carefully source and rigorously test aftermarket parts to ensure the highest quality. All aftermarket parts are covered by our comprehensive returns policy and warranty, giving you peace of mind with every purchase.
BAQ (Best Available Quality) Parts
BAQ parts are premium aftermarket components that closely match the performance and reliability of original parts. These parts offer an excellent balance of quality and affordability, making them a popular choice for cost-conscious customers without compromising on performance.
We maintain stringent quality control processes to ensure all BAQ parts meet our high standards. This includes:
- Supplier Audits: We audit suppliers to confirm their compliance with our purchasing standards and best practices. (Details of our standards are available upon request.)
- Periodic Inspections: Trained technicians verify the origin and quality of components.
- Staff Training: Our team is continuously trained and monitored to ensure they can provide accurate advice regarding product origins.
- Manufacturer Verification: Where applicable, we send samples to manufacturers to authenticate their quality and origin.
When we list an item as "Original" or "OEM", we have taken every reasonable step to secure documentation and confirm the part's authenticity and traceability.
Disclaimer on Trademarks
All trademarks mentioned in our product descriptions are the property of their respective owners. These trademarks are used solely for identifying the manufacturers' products and do not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those companies.
